Man. is adding 68 transitional care beds to reduce wait times and improve care transitions for patients, particularly high-needs seniors, those awaiting personal care homes, patients needing physiotherapy before discharge and individuals without housing. Nearly half of the beds are already available, with the rest expected by year's end.
