An obstetric and gynecology clinic in Charlottetown is using a whiteboard to inform patients of the cost of missed appointments, which totaled more than 18.5 hours of specialists' time in the month of December, 18.4 hours in November and 15.2 hours in October. The clinic is also working on a telephone reminder system and pregnant patients will receive a full print-out with all their appointments on their first visit. The document will include all the phone and email contacts for the clinic and the office's storm policy.
