The Ontario government budgeted $5.47 million for 12 projects approved through its Health Technologies Fund. Among the recipients of public funding includes Toronto-based MedChart platform, which allows patients at five hospitals to share data using after-hours cancer care telemedicine by Bayshore Homecare. Eve Medical is for women testing for HPV and cervical cancer. Women collect their own samples, see results online through an online portal within a week and follow up with a health professional.
