A survey of Manitoba voters suggests 53% strongly oppose a plan by the provincial government to implement healthcare premiums. Only 23% of residents came out in favour of the levy, which would reportedly be around $75 per household. The poll also finds that half of respondents view the healthcare premium proposal as a broken promise by the governing PCs, who campaigned on increasing healthcare delivery while cutting taxes.
