The CMA's Joule subsidiary is partnering with CognisantMD to provide physicians with the Ocean Platform for patient engagement and eReferrals. The platform:
- Connects patients, healthcare providers and researchers through customizable patient forms, screening tools, surveys and referral forms;
- Can reduce language barriers between physicians and their patients by automatically translating clinical notes into the EMR;
- Can be used to share patient information between providers, allowing referrals to be sent electronically in real-time.
More than 3,500 physicians are using Ocean, which integrates with EMR systems, and the Ocean Library includes over 3,500 forms for clinical and administrative use.
