Melanoma Canada launched the Mole Mobile, a mobile skin cancer screening unit, to visit major Canadian cities, underserved communities, and rural and Indigenous regions. This initiative aims to reduce wait times for dermatological consultations and improve patient outcomes by providing early detection and education on skin cancer prevention. The tour is supported by the Canadian Dermatology Association and will bring certified dermatologists to communities in British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec, and Ontario.
