Liberal Leader Susan Holt pledged to open a community care clinic in Woodstock, which would be the 11th of at least 30 such clinics across the province if she is elected. Holt's announcement came after discussions with Marisa Pelkey, the Liberal candidate for Woodstock-Hartland, who highlighted the local need for improved access to primary care. Among this push for clinics across the province, Holt also promised a collaborative care clinic in the Kennebecasis Valley region by 2026. Both proposed clinics are part of a larger plan that includes a budget of $115.2 million over four years to establish 30 community care clinics.
