College of Family Physicians of Canada seeks patient input on what defines 'safe zone' for conversations with family doctors

The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC), Choosing Wisely Canada and the Canadian Cancer Action Network are asking patients to complete a survey to define what a "safe zone" means to them as the organizations work to support family doctors in providing care to their patients and communities. The goal is to help patients feel comfortable asking questions and having conversations with their family doctor, making the clinical office environment a 'safe zone.' CFPC also wants to learn what's important to patients in their interactions with their family doctors. The survey closes on August 21st, 2017.
