The EU-Canada Health Policy Dialogue was launched virtually by Commissioner for Health and Food Safety Stella Kyriakides and Canada's Minister of Health Mark Holland, focusing on antimicrobial resistance, health security and non-communicable diseases. The Dialogue aims to facilitate knowledge exchanges and share best practices to improve health and safety globally. Both parties emphasized the urgency of addressing antimicrobial resistance and committed to collaborative efforts, including sharing knowledge on surveillance and promoting the One Health approach.
