Health Minister Bruce Fitch said the partnership will facilitate pathways for healthcare professionals from Indonesia to obtain Canadian accreditation and licensure. Representatives from N.B. will travel to Indonesia in the fall for an inaugural recruitment mission. A more encompassing memorandum of understanding should follow in 2025. Since 2019, over 1,300 internationally educated nurses were recruited to work in the province.
