The Sophia Recovery Centre is a non-residential, non-profit centre that provides continuing care for women recovering from addiction. The province provided $485,000 for renovations and $595,200 for operations funding this year, an increase of about $100,000. The Saint John location opened in 2008. It since added locations in St. Stephen and Quispamsis to meet growing demand.
