B.C. to accelerate process for thousands of residents needing family doctor

While nearly 410,000 people were connected to a physician since 2018, another 310,000 remain on the Health Connect Registry. The province will introduce digital tools within the system to better link patients with family physicians and NPs. An expanded team of 70 co-ordinators will use those tools to connect people to a primary-care provider. In the past, the process was done manually.
