Canadians’ opinions about their provincial healthcare systems didn’t improve in 2024 compared to last year. As in 2023, the Ipsos poll found less than half are satisfied with their provincial healthcare system, with only 8% saying they’re very satisfied. Atlantic Canada residents are less satisfied than the average, at 30%. Like the last two years, 52% of Canadians would like increased access to healthcare provided by independent health entrepreneurs. More than three-quarters believe their provincial healthcare system is too bureaucratic, a steady increase since 2020.
