Alta. doctors propose comprehensive care strategy to stem family physician exodus

The Alberta Medical Association's (AMA) social media campaign extols the merits of a physician comprehensive care model similar to those in B.C., Man. and Sask. The AMA claims 40% of physician revenue from billing goes to covering their practices, adding excess overhead means Alta. doctors earn $100,000 less than their counterparts in other western provinces.
