Alta. program to improve access to rehabilitation for rural, remote communities through digital supports

Nearly 20% of Albertans live in rural and remote communities and about 10,000 of them travel to major urban centres to receive specialized care. The partnership between Alberta Innovates’ Digital4Health program and the Glenrose Hospital Foundation aims to use digital solutions to make accessing rehabilitation medicine easier. The collaboration will connect patients and clinicians with rehabilitation technologies for those living in remote communities.
