Starting Dec. 11, patients win an X-ray referral from their care provider will be able to book their own appointments online. Horizon says the tool was developed following patient and staff feedback. The service is being piloted in the Saint John region and will be launched in other Horizon areas in early 2024. Patients can still call in to book an appointment if they don’t have access to an online device. Horizon believes the tool will reduce the number of missed appointments.
