Side effects described by the members of a proposed class action lawsuit against the makers of Ozempic include intense vomiting, gallstones and stomach obstruction. The proposed class action applies to damages arising from the drugs Ozempic, Rybelsus and Wegovy, which are all semaglutide prescription drugs manufactured by Novo Nordisk. In 2022, more than 3.5 million prescriptions for Ozempic, worth nearly $1.2 billion, were dispensed by retail drugstores in Canada.
