N.S. Health updates family doctor wait list by calling people who may have found a physician

Officials with Nova Scotia Health believe they've identified 17,500 people who can be removed from the province's need-a-family-practice registry. They’re now calling them to confirm this information. The registry stood at more than 152,000 people on July 1. Monthly updates were paused while the calls are taking place. Staff are aiming to complete the calls and update the registry by Aug. 31.
