N.S. moves primary care waitlist to online dashboard

As the list of Nova Scotians on the wait list for a family doctor or NP grows to over 142,000, the Need a Family Practice Registry wait list will be moved to an online dashboard instead of a monthly report. The data will include total visits to VirtualCareNS, mobile primary care clinics, NHS’ primary care clinics and total visits to urgent treatment centres and urgent care centres. The dashboard shows how many people in each health zone are on the list, the reason why and how many people on the list have access to primary care clinics or VirtualCareNS.
