The results were lower among women (43%) and residents of Atlantic Canada (25%). In B.C., 52% of residents say they’re satisfied with provincial healthcare, while in Alta. 47% say the same. Similar to previous polls, 38% believe healthcare investments made in the last decade had no impact on the system. About 30% believe the healthcare system deteriorated over the same period of time. Meanwhile, 67% believe private entities provide healthcare services faster than publicly funded institutions and about 52% agree access to private healthcare should be increased.
