The six-week program called Better Choice, Better Health are group workshops intended to help residents manage their chronic pain symptoms. There are separate workshops for chronic pain and chronic disease and participants learn about:
- Healthy eating and becoming more active;
- Strategies for talking with a healthcare team;
- Methods for dealing with difficult emotions; and
- Options for making everyday tasks easier.
The online program runs from Jan. 18 to Feb. 22.
