As federal health officials are urging Canadians to wear face masks indoors, a Nanos poll found seven in 10 Canadians would support the return of face masks mandates to some extent. Fifty-two percent would support the return of such mandates, 17% would somewhat support them, while 22% would be against them. Eight percent would be somewhat opposed to the idea. B.C. reported the highest support with 72%, followed by 71% in Ont. and Atlantic Canada, 65% in Que. and 62% in the Prairies. Women (72%) were more likely to agree to the return of the mandate compared to 64% of men.
