Canadians asked to share primary care experiences to guide future reform

A study found over 170,000 patients in Ont. lost their family doctors in the first six months of the pandemic, while an Angus Reid survey found six million people in Canada don’t have a family physician. As a result, a group comprised of a family doctor and researchers is asking Canadians to share their experiences with the country's primary healthcare system - and what they want from it - as a way to guide future reform. The group believes the system needs to be designed based on the needs, values, preferences and priorities of people who are using it.
