Alberta residents can access their EHRs through an online portal called MyHealth Records with any digitally-enabled device. Among the features that can be accessed online includes:
- Medicines dispensed from community pharmacies;
- Most immunizations given in Alberta as well as any immunizations received outside of the province the patient enters into the system;
- Results of common lab tests completed within 18 months of the date of sign-up;
- Blood pressure and blood glucose levels;
- Personal journals that track mood, sleep, weight, and fitness goals;
- Information from health devices, including supported blood pressure monitors, blood glucose meters and fitness trackers; and
- Printable reports and health records to share with healthcare providers.
