London Drugs pharmacies in the Lower Mainland region of B.C. are distributing wallet cards to seniors who have multiple prescriptions in a partnership with Fraser Health and the Community Against Preventable Injuries. Up to 4,000 cases of accidental drug poisoning occurs every year in B.C., and up to 125 people die from adverse reactions from mixing medications. Patients can list all prescription and non-prescription drugs they're taking so it can be reviewed by a pharmacist. The wallet cards are also available from the London Drugs website.
