Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare was selected as one of four sites in the country for a schizophrenia demonstration project that aims to strengthen outcomes for those living with schizophrenia by optimizing evidence-based treatment. From Apr. to July 2024, over 100 people received treatment for schizophrenia at the facility. The initiative is led by the Ministry of Health Commission of Canada and Ontario Shores, focusing on a customized and evidence-based approach to schizophrenia care.
